Privacy policy

Your family data stays under your control.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

Kidara stores only what's needed to keep your family's approved content available and private.

Data we collect

Account data: parent name, email address, sign-in provider, and authentication/session records.

Family content: child name, parent-approved answers, trigger phrases, meal plans, family memories, photos, videos, and parent voice recordings that you choose to save.

Support and security data: messages you send to support, basic account activity needed to operate the service, and server logs used to protect and maintain Kidara.

How we use data

We use this data for app functionality: signing you in, showing your family's approved answers, playing saved recordings, storing memories, sending password reset emails, and providing support.

Kidara does not sell personal data, does not use third-party advertising, and does not track users across other companies' apps or websites.

AI drafts

When parents use answer generation or rewriting, Kidara may send the parent-entered prompt and related answer context to an AI service to create a draft. Parents review and save drafts before children can access them.

Children

Kid mode is controlled by the parent account. Children can only see parent-approved content, routines, meals, and memories saved by the parent.

Deletion

You can delete your account in the Kidara app from Settings. Account deletion permanently removes your account, answers, recordings, memories, photos, videos, sessions, and reset tokens from Kidara.
